About

I commission building automation systems — and build the software that makes them smarter.

5+ years across Bangladesh, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. My career sits at the intersection of two disciplines that rarely meet: hands-on BMS commissioning and software development.

Story

A path that does not fit a template

Building Management System (BMS) Engineer with over 5 years of international experience in HVAC automation, smart building technologies, and large-scale system commissioning. Combines a background in electrical engineering with computer science and software development skills to bridge IT and OT environments in modern smart buildings. Experienced in Honeywell Alerton and Tridium Niagara 4 platforms with strong expertise in BACnet and Modbus integrations. Proven ability to commission complex BMS networks, optimise energy performance, and deliver reliable automation solutions at King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

Mission

My mission is to bridge the gap between traditional Building Management Systems and modern digital technologies. By combining hands-on BMS engineering with software development, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence, I build practical solutions that improve building performance, simplify operations, and prepare infrastructure for the future of smart automation.

What I value

  • Commission with proof
  • Document before deploying
  • Automate repetitive engineering
  • Anonymise confidential data
  • Bridge IT and OT

Philosophy

How I think about engineering work

Solve engineering problems

I do not write software because I enjoy coding. I build tools because something on a site is repetitive, error-prone, or slow.

Bridge IT and OT

Most crews speak only one side. Translating between software and HVAC controllers is where I add the most value to a project.

AI in the workflow

AI is built into planning, documentation, coding, and research — but I never ship something I would not defend in front of a consultant.
